Shawna graduated from Sutherland – Chan School in 1991. Since this time she had the experience of working in different private clinics covering maternity leaves and then working in a chiropractic clinic for 8 years. In 2000 Shawna opened Hands For Better Health and loves working along side her fellow colleagues and complimentary therapies. She feels this multidisciplinary clinic gives her clients the best possible opportunity to improve their health and well being. She enjoys working every day in this warm, inviting and happy environment. Shawna also has training in Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Aromatherapy, Kinesiology Taping, Warm Bamboo Massage and Hot Stone Massage.
Deborah graduated from Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in 2007. She joined the team at Hands for Better Health in November 2009. Deborah has training in Deep Tissue Massage, Soft Tissue Release, Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Release, Warm Bamboo Massage & Hot Stone Massage.
Annette graduated from Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington in 1999 and practiced for several years in the Burlington/Oakville area. In 2014 her and her family moved back to the Niagara area and settled in Beamsville. She is proud to be a part of Hands For Better Health Clinic and looks forward to furthering her knowledge about a profession she is passionate about.
Amber is a Registered Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer who also has a knowledge base in nutrition. She graduated from Mohawk College in 2019 and since then has worked at two different massage clinics in Burlington and now full time in Beamsville. She is passionate about helping clients through her knowledge and skill to the best of her ability. She works diligently with each client to learn and understand the care needed for treatment. Amber has experience treating everything from chronic conditions to sports injuries and uses many treatment techniques to work accordingly including: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point and Myofascial techniques. She is excited to further expand her knowledge and experience here at Hands for Better Health.
